In January of 2005, owner Christopher Grouse founded FireFold.com as a small online project. After dedicating years to the budding technology industry, he wanted a way to make quality, affordable networking products available to the general public. He and his wife Holly quit their jobs and devoted all of their time to operating and promoting their e-commerce store. Each order was processed, packed, and shipped by hand from the cramped basement they converted into their office and warehouse.

FireFold.com has continued to grow ever since. In the spring of 2012, the company moved its headquarters to a larger building in Concord, NC. The 30,000 square feet of office and warehouse space has allowed FireFold to develop even more.
